Law School Student Resources

The Toronto Lawyers Association is an association created, designed, and ran by Toronto lawyers for Toronto lawyers. It provides resources and community support to help law practices grow and thrive. We believe this support begins with your journey through law school.

Law school students may become Friends of the TLA for free. Enjoy such benefits as complimentary tickets to our educational programs, and access to TLA social events and our in-house publications such as TLA Update, Toronto Law Journal, and TLA Weekly Verdict. This allows you to keep up to date with news and projects as well as providing opportunities to meet and network with experienced lawyers from different practice areas in casual, convivial settings.

In addition, the TLA has created a number of dedicated programs for law school students and licensing candidates, such as our Annual Masters’ Motions, and Licensing Candidates Head Start Programs. When you join the TLA as a Friend, you will receive the TLA Update and Friday Focus, announcing upcoming events and programs.

We also have free resources that can be accessed anytime on this web page:
