Not everyone who gets a law degree wants to become a lawyer and not every lawyer wants to practice law their entire life. In case you were worried, there is life after law, promise!
Join us for the first program in a new series: TLA’s New Lawyers Committee presents Taboo Topics.
Come hear a panel of former lawyers speak about their journey and the pros- and cons- of not practicing law. You will hear invaluable advice on how to use your law degree for non-traditional career paths.
We will cover all the taboo topics such as non-law wages, hours expectations and average workdays. Our panel will also include a recruiter who specializes in hiring legal-related careers.
This panel is great for law students navigating the formal recruitment process as well as lawyers interested in a career change.
