Thinking about taking a parental leave – where do you start? Took a parental leave – what do you wish you knew?
What a parental leave looks like for every lawyer varies widely, depending on many factors including practice area, the specific workplace, and each person’s unique situation and preference. Just as in parenthood, there is no perfect guidebook when it comes to planning a parental leave from legal practice. Find out more about how to plan and execute a parental leave from lawyers with very different perspectives to share.
Join your fellow lawyers for an honest and candid conversation about the ins and outs (and ups and downs) of taking a parental leave as a lawyer. How to make it work? How to get paid? How to keep your clients? How to keep your sanity? What are the realities and challenges you can expect? How do lawyers really make it work?
Discussion will include:This program will be an informal space for lawyers to find information, support and guidance around parental leave and, really, parenting in law.
This will be an interactive conversation where questions are encouraged.
