Listening is at the foundation of communication. Effective client communication is vital for a successful professional relationship. The bad news is, you and your team don’t listen! The good news is, you can learn how to change. Join this enlightening program to learn why and how you should listen.
If you would like to improve the performance of your legal practice, get acquainted with three distinct stressors that limit your (and your team's) ability to listen:- Generate awareness of the filters at play when you 'listen' and the limits that they impose.
- Recognize how the stories you tell yourself limit what is possible for you, your firm, your clients and your staff.
- Identify unproductive ways of acting, justified or otherwise, their costs and your choice to interact in new ways.
Our speaker will refer to real-life examples involving litigation, negotiation, client service and staff management.
This will be an interactive session where questions are encouraged. There will be a Q&A at the end of the presentation.
