The upcoming Bencher election is important; the decisions Benchers make affect all lawyers in Ontario. Make sure the elected Benchers represent you and your interests.
The TLA is holding a Bencher Candidate Forum Q&A . We believe it is important to give Toronto lawyers an opportunity to hear from some Bencher Candidates about key issues in the upcoming election.
The free event will be in person and live streamed, with a mix and mingle following the Q&A.
For the Forum portion of the evening, we will be inviting 4 candidates to participate in a moderated discussion. There will be 2 independent candidates as well as one candidate each from the Good Governance Coalition and the FullStop Team. The Forum will be moderated by Teresa Donnelly and will take the format of a Q&A.
Join us. Learn about some of the key and divisive issues in the upcoming election. Meet some of the candidates. Catch up with friends and colleagues. Light refreshments will be served.
