Quicklaw Legal Research Training
Learn how to perform research efficiently and find the answers you need.We will cover:
- Accessing secondary materials (commentaries, textbooks, newsletters, etc.)
- Better searching with natural language tips and a Boolean tutorial
- Noting up case law, legislation
- Using Quantum services to determine what courts would award in a personal injury case, wrongful dismissal or what sentence would be given in a criminal case
- Using the resources in Practical Guidance to help you draft documents, better understand complex transactions and processes, and keep current on changes that may affect your practice.
LexisNexis is accredited with the LSO and this session can count towards Professionalism content hours.
