The TLA Criminal Committee has arranged for well-known criminal defence counsel John Rosen to repeat his 6-part criminal advocacy and cross-examination course. This time, however, John will be joined by experienced prosecutors and defence counsel, who will share their unique perspectives on trial advocacy. The goal of the committee is to establish John’s course as an annual program for young lawyers.
The program is designed with a primary focus on criminal lawyers with 2-5 years of practice and is exclusively open to TLA members only. Young litigators interested in improving their litigation skills who are TLA members are also welcome.

John Rosen has practiced Criminal Law for over 53 years, representing a wide variety of clients, both individuals and corporations, in serious and complex criminal, quasi-criminal and professional discipline cases. He is recognized in Canada as one of the leading members of the Criminal Bar and enjoys a reputation for taking on the defense of the most difficult cases.

Only TLA members are eligible to attend. This program is specifically designed for criminal lawyers with 2-5 years of experience within the TLA community, ensuring exclusive participation for our members. No students, NCA or licensing candidates.
