There has always been tough competition for plum articling positions, but the pandemic has made things a lot tougher on new and soon-to-be lawyers. With court closures and an overall reduction in work many firms are lowering partner draw, freezing hiring and eliminating positions. Young lawyers are nervous and seeking advice on how to balance their goals in the face of precarious employment.
This session will emphasize the importance of a financial plan and offer practical tips for stretching income and keeping emotions out of investments.
Speaker: Amardeep Sidhu, MBA, CFP, CIWM, CIM, FCSI, Financial Advisor, Lawyers Financial
