F12 combats the risk and complexity Canadian businesses experience around technology. Cybercrime-related incidents not only contribute to downtime, but have also led to several well-documented cases of business closure. This very real threat shows no signs of slowing, gaining momentum year after year. Technological security measures will always be needed, but humanity continues to be the weakest link in the fight against Cybercrime. Training and a general awareness of security and privacy concerns are our best defence.
In this session, F12 will paint a picture of the current threat landscape, providing examples of historical breaches, known breach methods and the average cost of cybercrime. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of how to spot attempted breaches and how to protect their finances and identity. Not for the faint of heart!
