Our goal is to support you in your dual role as lawyer and business owner by providing educational CPD accredited sessions on issues directly affecting you and your practice. These programs are developed and attended by your local colleagues, lawyers from the Toronto area, and encompass subjects such as legal trends, advocacy, legislative & court decisions, as well as practice and firm management guidance. Minimally disruptive to your work day, they take place during the late afternoon/evening, and last no longer than 2 hours.
The TLA Update will keep you informed of all our upcoming education programs.
The views and opinion expressed by speakers are their own and may not represent the views and opinions of the Toronto Lawyers Association.
Check also our CPD Annual Summary, to help you track your CPD hours from the current year.
Selected TLA programs are available as web replays through our partner CPDOnline, as they become available approximately two weeks after the event. While CPDOnline sets their own pricing and TLA pricing does not apply to CPDOnline replays, TLA members may take advantage of discounts on replays of TLA programs only.
As titles become available they will be publicized in the TLA Update.
Research Skills Training
The TLA also presents a range of invaluable hands-on sessions. Professional trainers deliver demonstrations of library resources and popular databases. Limited seating available.
