TLA Library Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Court House Orientation Tour will be held on August 26th. The tour will run from 8:30 am to 11 am.
The schedule is as follows:
- 8:15 – Registration in the Lawyers Lounge at 361 University
- 8:30 – Introductions
- 8:35-8:50 – Welcome from Judge or Master
- 8:50-9:00 – Move to library and organize into groups
- 9:00-9:45 – Tour of the various Court Houses
- 9:45 – Enter Courtrooms for preview of hearing
- 10:45 – Debrief
Students can expect to learn the answers to such commonly heard questions as:
- How do I find out what room my Motion will be heard in?
- How do I address the judicial officer?
- How do I sign in?
- Where do I go to file documents?
- Does the Judge/Master go through the list in numerical order?
- Is there a place for me to do work during the lunch break / recess?
- Where can I put my gown on?
We will be taking registration on a first come, first served basis.
Tours are limited to TLA members only, and membership is free for Licensing Candidates. (JOIN NOW!)
While the tour is free of charge, pre-registration is required as the size of the tour groups is restricted.
