COVID-19 and Court houses

Our partner, the Federation of Ontario Law Association (FOLA), participates in a weekly meeting with senior courthouse staff (OCJ, SCJ, and Ontario Court of Appeal) to discuss the issues affecting the profession and clients access to justice, in light of the COVID-19 crisis, and will be our voice at the table.
They are attempting to limit calls/queries coming into the courts and the best way to do this is to have issues go through a designated person. We are asking that any concerns our members are encountering when dealing with client matters at courthouses (either in person or remotely) be sent to Katie Robinette, so that she can report them at the daily meetings. She will also have the ability to either get a response sooner than a one off inquiry, or have the issue escalated if need be.
